Assemblymember Patrick O’Donnell Endorses Keir Jones in

Signal Hill City Council Race

(Signal Hill) – Today Keir Jones, local small businessman and candidate for Signal Hill

City Council, announced the endorsement of California Assemblymember Patrick

O’Donnell of the 70th District, which includes the City of Signal Hill.

“Keir Jones has a track record of great community work in Signal Hill and the Greater

Long Beach area,” said O’Donnell. “As someone who knows Keir, I know that he has

the insight and collaborative spirit to make a great leader for Signal Hill and its

residents. I am very proud to endorse him for City Council.”

Jones thanked O’Donnell for his support.

“I am grateful to Assemblymember O’Donnell for his support and faith in me,” said

Jones. “I have known Patrick for many years as a pragmatic, hard-working

representative and I hope to emulate his leadership as a Signal Hill Councilmember.”

potential. Keir is a business owner with an award winning State Farm Insurance agency

and a passionate community volunteer. Recognized as a one of “40 Under 40” by the

Long Beach Post, he has also served on the board of the Legal Aid Foundation and as

the President of the Signal Hill Community Foundation.

Keir grew up in San Clemente moving to Signal Hill after college and graduate school

where he earned a degree in business, with emphasis in accounting and marketing. He

lives in the West Bluff-Skyline HOA with his husband Thomas-Michael and his

schnauzer Winston.
