Grants Available Tomorrow for Small Business Owners
A new COVID-19 Small Business Relief Grant may offer up to $5,000 for qualifying small businesses with less than five employees. Businesses must be located in the L.A. County 4th Supervisorial District, which includes Signal Hill. The online application window opens on Wednesday, May 13 at 12 p.m, and closes on Thursday, May 14 at 12 p.m. Visit http://grants.lacda.org/ to apply, starting Wednesday at noon.

As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, I want to acknowledge what a stressful time this is for all of us. I believe the best way to manage our stress is by relying on accurate information from credible sources.
The City Council and City Management Team have been closely following daily updates from both the State and the County. Monday evening, the County issued a Health Officer Order that restricted food facility operations and closed specific businesses including bars, nightclubs, gyms, bowling alleys, movie theaters, and arcades.
