A new COVID-19 Small Business Relief Grant may offer up to $5,000 for qualifying small businesses with less than five employees. Businesses must be located in the L.A. County 4th Supervisorial District, which includes Signal Hill. The online application window opens on Wednesday, May 13 at 12 p.m, and closes on Thursday, May 14 at 12 p.m. Visit http://grants.lacda.org/ to apply, starting Wednesday at noon.
A limited number of businesses were allowed to reopen on May 8 by the LA County Health Department with restrictions, along with the trails in Signal Hill. As a reminder, physical distancing, cloth face coverings, and frequent hand washing will continue to be necessary to prevent the spread of COVID-19. To learn more about L.A.
