Momentum builds for Keir Jones with string of local endorsements

SIGNAL HILL, CA - Signal Hill City Clerk and small business owner Keir Jones announced the endorsements of current Signal Hill Mayor Tina Hansen, Vice Mayor Larry Forester, Councilmember Robert Copeland, as well as former Mayor Mike Noll. Collectively, they represent nearly 80 years of public service to the city of Signal Hill. Outgoing Councilmember Larry Forester had this to say about his endorsement of Keir Jones:

“Keir’s record of service in Signal Hill is unmatched. As City Clerk, he had led our city to one of the highest voter turnouts since I took office. And, as a small business owner he understands the importance local businesses play to our regional economy. Keir is the right choice to serve on the Signal Hill City Council.”

Statement from Keir Jones:

“I am honored to receive the support of our cities leaders both past and current. They have done a great job leading our city over the years and I am looking forward to standing with them as we move Signal Hill into the 21st Century.”

In addition to serving as City Clerk since 2017, Jones is an award-winning local small business owner and longtime community volunteer. As the current President of the Signal Hill Community Foundation, he led the effort to fund the $1 Million Capital Campaign for the new Library and funds the popular “Concerts in the Park” summer program which brings thousands of residents together.
